The Ministry of Education (MOE) of Singapore formulates and implements national education policies covering educational frameworks, curriculum, pedagogy and assessment. Guided by the vision “Thinking Schools, Learning Nation”, its mission is to mould the nation’s future by nurturing its people.
MOE oversees government‑funded kindergartens, primary and secondary schools, ITE, polytechnics and public universities. It administers admission exercises, national examinations, financial assistance schemes and teacher development programmes. The official portal provides tools including SchoolFinder, CourseFinder and the Student Learning Space (SLS). It also releases education statistics, PISA results and public‑consultation materials. Multilingual support (Chinese, Malay, Tamil) is available for selected public resources.
